2010 Banquet
The 2010 Banquet is fast approaching. The date this year is Sat Oct 30, 2010. It will be held at the same place as last year, The Ajax Convention Centre. Tickets must be ordered in advance either at a show office, or you can mail in the attached order form.
Specialty Awards
As with previous years we also are looking for nominations for our specialty awards. These prestigeous awards are a way for us to recognize those individuals who go above and beyond. There are awards for Jr and Sr Sportsmanship, for those competitors who serve as great examples of sportsmanship through thier work ethic and positive atitude. There is the Cassie Bonnar Award, recognizing a Jr member of the OEF who has made an outstanding contribution of time and efort to Ontario equestrian sport, recreation and/or welfare. Finally there is the "Outstanding Contribution award, for that individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the Central East circuit, parents, exhibitors, trainers, volunteers or a horse show employee are all elligible.
Take the time to make a nomination. We have so may deserving individuals in our zone, take the time to recognize them. Closing for nominations will be Oct 1, 2010. Nominations may be sent to CEZone@live.ca or forms may be dropped at any show office.
Barn Basket Competition
As with previous years we are once again running our popular Barn Basket Competition. Get creative and put together the most popular basket and win both bragging rights and an awesome ribbon for your barn. Every year these baskets are getting more and more exciting....
